About Nook

What Nook is

Nook is a curated guide to distinctive stays and experiences in Lagos. It isn't a booking platform with thousands of listings, and it isn't a marketplace where anyone can list a property. It's a small, chosen collection — five stays, six experiences — with a person behind every enquiry.

Why curation matters

A long list is easy to build and hard to trust. Nook stays small on purpose, so that every stay and experience on it can be described specifically — what a place is like, who it suits, what to expect — instead of reduced to a star rating and a price.

How properties are selected

Each stay is chosen for what makes it particular to its neighborhood and its building — the light in a room, the materials, the pace of the street outside — rather than for how many amenities it can list. If a place doesn't have a clear character of its own, it doesn't belong on Nook.

Nook's approach to Lagos

Lagos doesn't need to be flattened into a single story to be worth visiting well. Nook organizes around real neighborhoods — Yaba, Ikoyi, Lekki, Lagos Island — and points toward experiences that are either hosted directly or simply worth knowing about, always being clear about which is which.
